Robotics Club

This year I entered the robotics club and its really fun. A lot of my friends were in the robotics club and this club is good for curriculum and stuff, so I thought "why not give it a try?". I thought the club was going to be very boring and not well organized, but its actually a pretty fun club.

When I first went to sign myself to the robotics club I went with some friends. We had a meeting on the multipurpose room and there they explained what the club was about. They explained all the branches that exsisted. The one that called my attention the most was mechanics. Lots of my friends were in that area and I thought it would be a fun exerience to build stuff.

Once I signed myself to the mechanics area we went after school to the area behind the domes. Its at the side of the water treating thing. When we got ther this guy named Ale helped us learn how to use everything. The goal for us to do by the end of the class was to make a plate. So they gave us some gloves and glasses. First they gave us a metal and we had to do measures on it with a marker. Then after that we had to use a chainsaw to cut a line so we could have a rectangle. This was my first time using a chainsaw and I was nervous because I though I was going to screw it up. In the end it was all fine and Iended up with a hot piece of metal. After that we had to use a machine to take awat the edges of the metal. Mine was very edgy and I think I ended up making it more edgy. After that we had to go to the drilling machine and make 4 holes to the plate. After I finished that I went to put together two plates with this weird tool. After all that was done time flew by and it was time to close the workshop. Since then im always exited to go there and build new things.

The only thing that bothers me is that I try to work but theres too many people on the workshop. Sometimes you cant do anything because its too full. Other than that its really fun to go to the workshop and build things.
